Novel insanity and blog sparsity
Goodness, it’s only a couple of days until National Novel Writing Month. 50,000 words. 30 days. Oh man.
While trying to fulfill my daily minimum of 1,667 words (well, personally I’m aiming for 2,000), there won’t be as much activity on here as usual. Except…
Daily blurbs and word counts
There will be a daily update on my Nano progress. And probably my frustrations. And whenever I suddenly want to throw my iBook across the room, because I’ve got to write 2,000 words today I’ll never do it am I bloody crazy —
Sorry about that. Anyway. During Nano, I’ll be posting daily with my day’s word count, overall progress (and what’s left), and, re a suggestion from Herbie (one of my Eight Readers), an excerpt of the day’s output. All these will be posted under the Writing category, and at the end of National Novel Writing Month, I’ll compile all the links into an uber-post.
What about oneword?
Other posts will be occasional… but sparse is probably the better word. This especially goes for onewords; I may do them here and there, but they may just be on hold until December.
Nano is going to be one hell of a ride. I’m looking forward to sharing it with my Eight Readers, and hey, hopefully even coming out of it with a grin and a rough draft of a quite-possibly-publishable novel.
I hope you enjoy following along.
