The fine folks at Iraila (24th & Hilyard, 541-684-8400, iraila.com)serve up some of the best damn grub in Eugene. More than that though, they have a huge focus on supporting different aspects of the Eugene community, from dance to theater.
Check out their July and August happenings, reprinted from their latest newsletter. Things to look out for include their box lunches, to take with you to this August’s Shakespeare in the Park, in Amazon Park in south Eugene. (By the way, this summer’s outdoor performance is The Taming of the Shrew — it’s outdoors, free and open to the public.)
One last note, on Hilyard’s summer roadwork: if you’ve noticed all the construction happening on Hilyard Street this summer, not to worry. Iraila’s entryways should always be accessible, save for a couple of days at the intersection at 24th. I’m guessing you can find a way to get around via Alder, but if not, just park somewhere in the Alder neighborhoods and walk on down.
Now to the Iraila news. Read on, but more importantly, get yourself a reservation and get on down to Iraila, at 24th & Hilyard, for some of Eugene’s best damn Mediterranean chow. Got it?
