Think you can’t do solar power in cloudy, misty, gray Eugene? Think again. It has its challenges, but it is more than possible:

The Pacific Northwest’s notoriously gray skies and cool, drizzly weather would seem to contradict any notion of Oregon being well placed for solar energy. But according to RenewableEnergyAccess.com, two-thirds of Oregon gets as much sunshine as Florida does, and the state’s least sunny location "rivals the best locations in Germany."
