Do you ever feel like there’s just too much? Too many recipes to whip up. Too many blogs to read. Too many tips and tools to try. The variety is great — but is it getting in its own way? Hmm. That’s something to ponder as a new year barrels our way…

You are so right-on, I’ve struggled with this one a lot. I love much of what technology and culture have brought us as much as the next gal, but there’s something to be said for simplicity. What do you want to simplify in 2007? Oh, and how were the b’day festivities?? New Year’s brunch at Michelle’s on Monday, just a heads-up…
Hmmm. I hope the package that should be arriving at your office any day now doesn’t contribute to this problem too much!
I’m seeing it more as just shutting off all the “new” stuff, and going with what’s around. We have heaps of recipes, for example – we could probably try a new one every day, and not have the same thing twice for at least 10 years.
What I wonder about most is things like, well, blogs. Boy, I hate to say that, too, since, well, I’m guilty. But for all this content that’s out here, how much do we put to use? How many posts do we act on, or just bookmark for later (not that I do anything like that, mind you).
(Oh but Carla, don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll manage 🙂
