Bread, Baked Brie & Blackberries

  • Preheat your oven to 350ºF
  • Get out that brie you’ve been dying to bake (Eugene note: we get ours from either Market of Choice at 29th & Willamette, or the Trader Joe’s in Oakway Center)
  • Put brie in a baking dish, pie tin, whatever
  • Smother it in blackberries (fresh if in season, but frozen is fine too)
  • Bake for 7-10 minutes, or until not too melty, but gooey, and the berries are warm but not hot
  • Enjoy with warm slices of a bread of your choice

  2. mmmm, sounds delish.
Here, my friends and I make a different baked brie. We take a round loaf of bread, make it into a bread bowl, put in chunks of brie and chunks of garlic, replace the top, and bake that in an oven. That is also super yummy.

  3. Leah – that sounds incredible. We’ll have to try that too. I bit a spring of rosemary in it would be awesome too.
Logan – we thought you and K@ would appreciate that. Have fun in Costa Rica, and may you buy heaps of cheese upon your return!
