My Writing Tools

The camera, of course, was too busy taking the shot to actually be in the shot.

Writing is a craft, and like any craft, tools matter.

When you get down to absolute basics, sure, you can scribble on a moist napkin with a pencil stub, but day to day, that ain't gonna cut it. The more you write, the more you understand the value of quality, durable tools. Here are the tools I use every day in writing and editing:

  • Hi-Tec-C Cavalier pens (blue body, black ink, for drafting; red body, red ink, for editing)
  • Moleskine
  • Canon TK model digital camera
  • Legal Pad
  • MacBook

Here and there over the next few weeks, I'll post about each item, why I chose it, and what it brings to my writing and editing productivity. As each post is published, I'll add the link here.

First up: Hi-Tec-C Cavalier pens…

What are your favorite and most useful writing tools?
