“We’ll be able to completely cover the state of Oregon”
Oakshire Brewing has announced new distribution agreements that will increase the availability of Oakshire beer throughout the state of Oregon.
From October 1, 2011, Maletis Beverage of Portland, OR, will distribute Oakshire beer in the Greater Portland/Salem area. The Odom Corporation of Bellevue, WA, will cover the Southern Willamette Valley, Central Oregon and Southern Oregon, including the Southern Oregon Coast. Oakshire will continue to distribute its draft beer through its local distribution operation in Eugene, Springfield and Corvallis.[Editor’s note: I’m glad to hear Oakshire will continue their own Eugene-area distribution. It always give me a warm glow to be running errands and see the Oakshire van on its rounds.]
“As our company has grown we’ve been fortunate to attract the most talented brewers and access the highest quality ingredients,” said Jeff Althouse, co-founder and general manager of Oakshire Brewing. “We are now able to offer our grocery and restaurant customers the highest quality service from distribution partners Odom and Maletis. In addition, we’ll be able completely cover the state of Oregon.”
Oakshire notes that access to full-coverage distribution networks is a challenge for small craft brewers. The new partnership with Maletis and Odom recognizes Oakshire’s potential for continued growth, and now more Oregonians can have access to quality Oakshire craft beer.
