The intent to live fully

Today’s Oneword: Intent

A 60-second creative riff based on one word:

There had never been a reason to do anything else, just a sense of going and going, living and breathing, eating and excreting. Life was the continuance of inertia, and there was no need to sense or believe in anything beyond. Until the rain and the boom, the wait and the word—they were gone, and from that loss came something he’d never known: the intent to live fully, to see all, to do what they no longer could.
