On Oct. 27, 2014, I started drafting Lotus, the fourth Rucksack Universe book. I finished Act I on Nov. 21—the day before my daughter was born.
After the holidays and time with my wee family, on Jan. 5, 2015, I resumed working on the book.
And today, Mar. 24, 2015, I finished drafting Lotus.
After 76,215 words, I’m going to take a couple of days off. Before I do, it’s time to fire up my favorite end-of-project song… Battle Without Honor or Humanity from Kill Bill. And after that? I’m going to work on other projects for a few weeks, before picking up Lotus for revision. See you at the aftermath. Peace.
