Rates depend on the project, so please contact me for a free consultation. I thrive on working to your needs and within your budget.
When I send you an estimate, you can expect a detailed breakdown of the work we need to do and the goals we want to accomplish. There will also be a flat-rate fee and estimated timeline. You’ll know the exact cost and how long we can expect the project to take, right up front.
In addition to a B.A. in English and Journalism, I’ve worked in content for over 20 years. In college I cut my teeth as the editor-in-chief for the campus newspaper. I also worked in the newsroom for a major regional newspaper, and got my start writing stories and briefs for special publications.
Since 2000, I’ve worked in content from creating and editing content for a global travel community, to managing content and copywriting for a national sales company with over 50,000 products. I’ve also written hundreds of articles and pieces of copy for various businesses and publications, and I’ve structured the organization and provided on-brand marketing content content for various content and e-commerce websites.
A copywriter improves your organization’s image, revenue and market appeal.
I have experience in many industries and projects. The great thing about copywriting is that its principles apply to any industry: get your organization, products or services in front of the people who need them, and increase traffic, sales and market share.
I do a lot of work on the front-end of a project to make you happy with the first draft. However, revisions sometimes are needed. All my copywriting projects include up to 2 rounds of revision at no extra charge, provided they are within the original brief and assigned within 14 days of your receipt of the first draft. You tell me the changes, and I’ll make the fixes, fast.
I guarantee that I will deliver professional, high-quality work. It’s impossible to predict or guarantee how many leads or sales copy will generate for you, or how your copy will rank in search engines such as Google or Bing. No reputable copywriter would claim to be able to. My copy and content management work gets strong results for clients, but your mileage may vary.
You could do it yourself, sure… but you already have lots to do, and you’ll have to put other tasks on hold while working on your website, newsletter or social media presence. You could also hire an agency, but the cost tends to be higher due to the extra services and overhead that come with an agency. Plus, a lot of copywriting projects don’t need the extra services and overhead of an agency.
My career and experience focus around taking what you need and what you do, and conveying it in plain language to the people who need your products or services.
Agencies are great, but sometimes they may be overkill for the copywriting or editing work that you need. Updating your website content, writing content for your newsletter, refining your website organization, etc., are smaller jobs that can be easier and more affordable to assign to a dedicated copywriter.
